The laser method utilizes powerful beam of light to remove layers of skin were the stretch marks are located. The cosmetic surgery is another option in stretch mark removal whereby a surgeon surgically removes the stretch marks.

There are some homemade remedies for the removal of stretch marks which have been tried and found to be effective.
